Building a Lounge Area with LED Curved Bench Hire

Creating a defined lounge area at an evening event is partly about furniture selection and partly about placement. The LED Colour Changing Curved Bench does both jobs at once: its shape encourages guests to sit facing each other, and the LED lighting marks the zone without any additional lighting rigs.

What the Bench Offers

The curved bench has a continuous seating surface that works for three to four people depending on how guests choose to spread out. The translucent shell diffuses colour from an internal rechargeable LED unit, cycling through the full spectrum or holding a fixed colour. Like our other LED pieces, it runs on battery and requires no mains connection during the event.

The bench is weatherproof and can be used outdoors at evening events. Its weight and low centre of gravity make it stable on grass and hard-standing alike.

Arranging a Lounge Zone

The curve of the bench makes it a natural anchor for a lounge arrangement. Place two benches facing each other with a low central table between them and you have a contained seating area that reads as a destination rather than overflow space. Add one or two LED Colour Changing Bubble Chairs at the ends to give guests a choice of seating style within the same zone.

For events where the lounge area is adjacent to a bar, the LED Bar Straight creates a visual connection between the two areas when set to the same colour. Guests moving between the bar and the seating area experience a consistent zone rather than a collection of separate pieces.

Colour and Atmosphere

LED furniture works best when the colour scheme is decided in advance rather than left to cycle. For corporate events, match the brand colour and hold it fixed throughout. For festivals and private parties, a slow fade through warm colours tends to read as relaxed and atmospheric.

White is the most used fixed colour for evening events where photography matters: it is neutral, flatters most skin tones, and reads cleanly on camera. Blue or purple are common choices for tech and brand launch events.

Practical Details

Standard hire is 3 days. The bench arrives charged and ready to position. Battery life at full brightness is 6 to 8 hours. We deliver across England and Wales.
