Hire catering accessories for events: serving dishes, chafing fuel, condiment sets and miscellaneous equipment. Flexible quantities, online booking.
Catering accessories cover the smaller items that complete an on-site catering setup. Chafing fuel for chafing dishes, gastronorm lids, food covers, condiment sets, serving tongs, ladles, portion scoops, squeeze bottles and general-purpose catering sundries are all stocked and available to add to any hire order.
The accessories range is designed to fill gaps in a catering kit. Food covers protect prepared dishes between cooking and service. Chafing fuel keeps bain maries and chafing dishes at temperature without electricity. Gastronorm lids fit the standard gastronorm containers used in professional kitchens and keep food covered during transport between the preparation area and the service point.
Condiment sets and sauce dispensers suit catering setups where sauce is served at the table or at a self-service point. Serving tongs and ladles cover the portioning side of a buffet or self-service station. Squeeze bottles handle sauces and dressings in a controlled way that reduces waste and mess during service.
Any event with on-site catering benefits from having the right accessories to hand. A wedding caterer working in a hired venue kitchen needs chafing fuel to keep dishes warm at the pass, food covers to protect plated courses while waiting for service, and serving spoons and ladles to dress the buffet. A festival trader needs sauce dispensers and portion scoops to serve consistently and quickly during busy service periods.
Corporate events with a self-service lunch need food covers to keep dishes appetising between service. Conference catering with a hot buffet requires the full set of accessories alongside the cooking and warming equipment.
Accessories are available individually and can be added to any larger catering hire order at checkout. Because accessories are typically low-cost items, most orders include them as part of a wider catering kit rather than as a standalone hire. Note that consumable items like chafing fuel are one-use and not returned. Expo Hire delivers across England and Wales. Order at least a week ahead for large events with multiple catering items.
There’s no need to worry about a damage deposit when placing an event hire order with Expo Hire. Instead, we run a free minor damage waiver scheme to cover minor damage or loss, so you don’t need to worry if you break the odd glass or plate. We do charge for excessive or negligent loss or damage at 10x the hire price. Please check our terms and conditions for full details.
Working out delivery costs is easy with Expo Hire; simply use our carriage calculator to find which of our branches is near to you. Tap your postcode in and it will confirm not only whether we cover that postcode or not, but also which of our 11 branches is closest to you and the cost for delivery from that branch, as well as the list of possible extra charges. Heavy furniture like sofas or equipment like large fridges will require a second person in the van and this will be added in the checkout.
Once you have filled your basket and confirmed your delivery dates and postcode in the checkout, we will show you an itemised cost for delivery so you know exactly what you’re paying for before you place your order.
Want to know when your delivery is coming? You can track your driver using our real time maps on the day of delivery and collection. Simply enter your postcode and order number into our order tracking page and find out when our driver will be with you. You can also use the link we send you by automated text.
