Dinner Dance Equipment Hire UK | Expo Hire

Everything you need for a successful dinner dance.

Expo Hire supplies furniture, tableware and staging for dinner dances across England and Wales. Corporate Christmas parties, charity balls and black-tie fundraisers need round tables for dining, a clear floor for dancing, and a stage for the band or DJ. We deliver everything in one load and collect after the event.

Why hire from Expo Hire

  • The only hire company in the UK that delivers and collects on Sundays. Most competitors stop at Saturday. We cover every day of the week.
  • Live order tracking on every delivery and collection. Track your driver in real time by order number and postcode. No other hire company in the UK offers this for both delivery and collection.
  • Every order 100% guaranteed before you pay. We check live stock and logistics at the point of booking. No substitutions, no shortfalls, no calls the week before.
  • Choose morning or afternoon for delivery and collection. No other hire company gives you this choice. Your venue, your schedule.
  • No security deposit. No damage deposit. Ever. Expo Hire never holds your money.
  • Free Minor Damage Waiver on every order. Accidental scratches and minor wear covered at no charge. Other companies charge 2–3% of your order total for the same cover.
  • The widest product range in the event hire industry. Chairs, tables, catering, glassware, linen, heating, gazebos, staging, and more from a single supplier.
  • The only hire company in the UK with live chat support seven days a week, 8am to 8pm. Every competitor closes at 5pm on weekdays. Get answers when you are planning, not just during office hours.

Dining furniture

Round banqueting tables work well for dinner dances because guests can face the dance floor without reorganising the room after the meal. Chiavari chairs suit formal dinners where table presentation carries weight. Banqueting chairs handle bigger numbers and pack down faster during changeover. Linen hire covers tablecloths and chair covers to tie the room together.

Tableware

A full table setting covers the meal and drinks service. Crockery, cutlery and glassware for wine, water and toasts can all come from one order. Allow 2-3 wine glasses per guest to avoid shortages during service. Add Send It Back Dirty at checkout and the post-event washing comes off your list.

Stage and entertainment

A raised stage gives the band or DJ a clear position at one end of the room. Our portable stage hire suits venues where no permanent platform exists. Modular sections let you match the stage footprint to the room layout and band size. Lecterns and screens are available for awards or speeches before the dancing begins.

Every order includes a Free Minor Damage Waiver at no extra charge. Other hire companies charge 2–3% of your order total for the same cover — on a typical £1,000 booking, that is up to £30 extra you keep in your pocket.

Six things no other hire company in the UK offers. We deliver and collect seven days a week — no other hire company does. We are the only hire company to offer live order tracking for both delivery and collection; track your driver in real time by order number and postcode. We check live stock and logistics availability before your order is confirmed, so every order is 100% guaranteed to arrive exactly as placed — no substitutions, no shortfalls. You choose morning or afternoon for both delivery and collection. We never charge a security or damage deposit. Every hire includes a Free Minor Damage Waiver at no extra charge — other companies charge 2–3% of your order total for the same cover. And with the widest product range in the event hire industry, most customers can source their entire event from a single supplier.

Common questions

When should I book Christmas dinner dance equipment?
December weekends fill from September. Chiavari chairs, linen and staging are the first items to go. Book by October for late November and December dates.
What size stage do I need for a band?
A four-piece band typically needs around 6m x 4m. A DJ can work on a smaller platform. Our modular staging configures to fit the room.
How do I plan the room layout?
Allow roughly 1.5-2 square metres per guest for the dining area and 30-40% of the floor for dancing. A stage at one end and round tables on the other gives guests a clear view from their seats.
Do you cover the whole of England and Wales?
Yes. We deliver from 11 regional depots. The website calculates your delivery charge at checkout.
