Our standard CO2 extinguishers are 2kg capacity, compact and easy to use.
Dry powder fire extinguishers are multi-purpose. They tackle fires involving solids, liquids, and gases, including cooking oils or gas cylinders. The powder forms a blanket, cutting off the oxygen supply. Expo Hire stocks 6kg dry powder units. These provide ample fire-fighting power for general areas, workshops, or where gas heating operates. They are effective against many fire classes, useful for many event situations.
Beyond extinguishers, fire blankets offer a quick way to deal with specific fire types. A fire blanket smothers small, contained fires, those involving cooking oils or fats in a temporary kitchen. They consist of two layers of woven glass fibre fabric. These blankets are 1.2 metres by 1.2 metres, a standard size for kitchen safety. You position them near cookers or fryers, ready to use straight away.

You need "Fire Extinguisher" signs to mark the location of your firefighting equipment. "Fire Exit" signs show you escape routes.
