Mobile Bars

Bar furniture, glassware and accessories for mobile bar setups at weddings, parties and festivals. Glassware returned dirty. No minimum order.

Mobile bar setups are hired for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, festivals and any occasion where a pop-up bar is needed rather than a permanent one. The equipment required depends on the drinks being served and the scale of the operation.

Expo Hire hires bar furniture and glassware for mobile bar setups across England and Wales. Orders are placed online with no minimum order and no quote process. Stock is shown live and delivery charges are calculated at checkout by mileage from the depot.

Bar furniture

A complete mobile bar setup typically starts with a bar counter and back bar shelving, which create the physical structure of the bar. Bar stools and poseur tables in front of the bar give guests a surface for drinks and create a natural bar area without the need for permanent fixtures.

Back bar shelving displays bottles and glassware and gives the bar an organised appearance. Combined with a bar counter of the right width for the space, back shelving completes the functional layout for a busy bar operation. Both are available in sizes suited to small private functions through to large festival bars.

Glassware

Glassware is one of the largest parts of a mobile bar order by quantity. Wine glasses, champagne flutes, highball glasses, beer glasses and tumblers are all available. The quantity required depends on the number of guests and whether a glass wash operation is running on site.

Expo Hire offers the Send It Back Dirty service on all glassware, so glasses go back in the crates they arrived in, unwashed. For events where a glass wash is running on site, the total quantity can be reduced. For events where no washing is planned, the order quantity should cover the full number of guests for the peak drinking period.

Bar accessories

Bar accessories available alongside the furniture and glassware include ice buckets, bar mats, bottle openers, draining trays and glass washers. Ice buckets and coolers keep white wine and soft drinks chilled at the bar without needing a refrigerator. Draining trays manage water around the bar area and keep the working surface tidy during a busy service.

Outdoor mobile bars

For mobile bars at outdoor events, gazebos provide the structure to house the bar and protect equipment and staff from rain. A 3x3m or 4x4m gazebo accommodates a standard bar counter with working space behind it. Side panels on the windward side keep the interior dry during wet weather.

Patio heaters near an outdoor bar extend the evening hours in cooler months. A heater positioned at each end of the bar area keeps guests comfortable while ordering.

Delivery and collection

Bar equipment is delivered to the venue and collected at a time arranged after the event. Delivery charges are calculated by mileage from the depot, shown at checkout. For events at licensed venues, check whether the venue has restrictions on bringing in external bar equipment before placing your order.

For large mobile bar orders, the Large Order Deposit Scheme allows you to secure equipment with a deposit rather than the full amount at checkout.
