Champagne Glasses Hire Options

Sparkling wine glasses come in three main styles. Each design provides specific features for serving champagne, prosecco, or other effervescent drinks.

Champagne Flutes: Flutes suit traditional sparkling wine service. Their tall, narrow bowl reduces surface area, slowing bubble dissipation. This shape preserves the effervescence of the drink. A standard flute holds 170ml, taking a typical 125ml pour while leaving space for bubbles to develop without overflowing. It stands 21cm high with a rim diameter of 5cm. This profile promotes a focused stream of bubbles.

Champagne Coupes: Also known as saucers, coupes feature a wider, shallower shape and hold 200ml. The design allows aromas to escape at a fast rate. You use coupes in vintage-themed events or to serve certain dessert wines where aromatic release matters. Coupes gained popularity in the 17th century and retain a strong retro aesthetic today. They stand around 15cm high and measure 9cm across the top.

Prosecco Glasses: These glasses offer a wider profile than a standard flute, with less of a sharp taper towards the top. This tulip shape allows for a generous release of fruit aromas. You want this characteristic for prosecco and light, fruity sparkling wines. The design balances aroma release and bubble retention. They stand at about 20cm high and measure 6cm across the rim, providing a modern alternative to the traditional flute.

Glassware Delivery and Cleaning

We machine polish all glassware before dispatch. We pack them in reusable crates for transport protection. These crates hold 20 or 25 glasses, dependent on the style. This packing method makes storage simple at your venue and keeps the items safe during transit. After your event, just place the glasses back into their crates. You take advantage of our "Send It Back Dirty" service, meaning you return everything unwashed. We handle all post-event cleaning, saving you labour and eliminating the need for on-site washing facilities.

Every order includes a Free Minor Damage Waiver, covering small breakages at no extra cost. We do not require a security deposit, and you can secure orders over £1,000 with a 25% advance payment. Our system calculates delivery from £40 ex-VAT based on road distance from your nearest depot. On delivery day, you track your driver with live vehicle tracking and receive an SMS ETA. You can also add crockery hire and cutlery hire to your order to complete your table settings.

No security deposit

Advance deposit
