The International Convention Centre, known as the ICC, is a purpose-built convention and exhibition venue in Birmingham city centre, positioned next to the Symphony Hall and a short walk from Brindleyplace. The ICC is primarily a conference venue, with a large auditorium, a series of suites and meeting rooms, and hall spaces used for trade exhibitions and receptions. For conference use, rectangular conference tables and stacking chairs are the standard requirement for meeting suites and breakout rooms. For larger plenary sessions and award dinners, round banqueting tables with banqueting chairs are the most requested combination alongside theatre-style chair arrangements.
Trade exhibitions and trade shows also take place at the ICC, particularly those running alongside major conferences. For exhibition stands in the halls, folding tables and trestle tables handle display, registration, and literature requirements. Poseur tables and bar stools suit open-plan stand formats. The venue also uses café-height furniture extensively in its foyer and reception spaces, which can be hired for breakout and networking areas.

Delivery to the ICC Birmingham
Expo Hire delivers to the ICC Birmingham for a flat charge of £50. This is one of the lower delivery charges in our venues list because the ICC is close to our depot. The charge covers both the outward delivery and the collection at the end of your hire period, with no additional fees.
When placing your order, enter the venue postcode at checkout to confirm the delivery charge. You will be asked for your hall, suite, or room name and stand number so our team can deliver directly to the right part of the building. If your room or stand reference is not yet confirmed when you book, contact us before the delivery date and we will update your order.
A minimum order value of £500 applies. All prices are shown ex-VAT.
Booking
Orders can be placed online with live stock availability. We recommend booking once your event space at the ICC is confirmed. For conferences with multiple breakout rooms and large furniture requirements, contact us before ordering and we can help plan quantities across the different spaces.
