Outdoor café areas at events — whether at a food festival, a corporate garden party, or a public outdoor event — need furniture that holds up to weather, seats guests at a comfortable height, and can be moved around during the event if the layout needs to change. The aluminium package provides one table and four matching café chairs. The aluminium frames are rust-resistant and stable on grass, gravel, and hard-standing. The chairs stack when not in use, which makes storage and transport more manageable when you are hiring for a large number of covers.
The table surface is powder-coated aluminium, which wipes clean. This matters for outdoor catering where spills, condensation, and food debris are a constant presence. For comparison, painted wooden furniture requires more attention after an outdoor event.
Allow 1.5 square metres per cover at minimum for a comfortable outdoor dining setup. For a terrace or garden area of 30 square metres, this supports around 20 covers, or five table packages. Factor in walkway space between tables of at least 1 metre for both service and guest movement.
For a more varied layout, add a few White Bistro Tables 70cm x 70cm for two-person tables. Mixing café packages and bistro tables gives the area a more organic, restaurant-style feel than rows of identical four-top tables.
The aluminium chair package does not include shade. For daytime events in summer, plan your shade separately. The 2.5m Round Parasol covers one four-top table and can be moved around the area depending on where the sun falls during the event. Most parasols require a base weight, which should be included in your hire order.
