Expo Hire delivers event furniture and catering equipment to venues across England and Wales. To keep delivery costs proportional rather than flat, the business operates from a network of regional depots. Your order ships from whichever depot is closest to your venue, so you pay a local rate regardless of where in the country you are.

Why regional depots matter
Most hire companies operate from a single central warehouse. The result is a flat delivery rate that adds the same charge to an order going five miles as one going a hundred. Expo Hire's depot network changes that. Each depot covers the surrounding region, so a customer in Manchester pays Manchester delivery rates, not a national average that includes the cost of covering Cornwall.
The depots don't hold their own separate stock. Equipment is stored centrally and distributed to the nearest depot ahead of each delivery run. This means stock availability stays consistent across all regions, while delivery costs remain proportional to actual distance.

The routing is automatic. Whichever of the eleven depot sites you visit, or whether you come through the main expohire.com site, the booking system reads your postcode and assigns your order to the closest available depot. You do not need to know which depot covers your area.
Checking delivery costs
Delivery pricing varies by distance from the nearest depot to your venue. To see the exact cost before you order, use the carriage calculator. Enter your postcode and the tool shows the current delivery charge for your area, including the return collection fee. There are no surprises at checkout.

Collection
Collection is available from Expo Hire's main warehouse in Birmingham. If you prefer to collect rather than take delivery, contact the team to arrange a collection slot. For all other areas, hired equipment is delivered to your venue by Expo Hire's own delivery teams and collected afterwards. Delivery windows and access requirements are agreed when you place your order. If your venue has specific access constraints, flag these at the time of booking so the team can schedule accordingly.
