Most event venues in England are within our standard delivery range. Transport starts from £40 ex VAT and is calculated by road distance from your nearest depot. Sunday delivery is available at the standard weekend rate — useful for events that need furniture in place on Saturday for a Sunday event, or collected the Monday after a weekend wedding or festival.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many chairs do I need per table?

A 5ft round table comfortably seats eight guests. A 6ft round table seats ten. For a trestle table used for dining, allow 24 inches of space per person along each side. Most events add extra chairs for top tables, cake tables and gift tables, so ordering a small buffer is sensible.

Can I hire chairs and tables without linen?

Yes. Linen is optional. If you are using your own tablecloths, just hire the bare tables. If you want a finished look, we stock white and ivory linen tablecloths in sizes to fit 5ft and 6ft round tables and standard trestle table lengths.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible for peak summer weekends and the Christmas season. Stock is allocated by date, so popular items on bank holiday weekends and late November through December fill up weeks ahead. For mid-week corporate events, a week's notice is usually enough. Live availability is shown on every product page.

What is included in the hire period?

The standard hire period is three days: delivery day, event day and collection day. Extended hire is available if you need furniture for longer. Hire is charged for the full period from delivery to collection, not just the event day itself.
