Weddings account for a large share of furniture hire orders. A typical wedding breakfast needs round banqueting tables, banqueting chairs in bulk, a top table, and a drinks reception area with poseur tables and bar stools. Lounge areas at the entrance or beside the dance floor often get a sofa cluster. For a 120-guest wedding, expect to need roughly 120 chairs, 15 round tables, 8 to 10 poseur tables and a sofa grouping.
Conferences and corporate events use furniture differently depending on layout. Theatre-style setups need rows of chairs without tables. Boardroom formats require long rectangular tables with office chairs. Exhibition-style conferences mix poseur tables for standing conversations with meeting chairs for seated breakout sessions.

Expo Hire delivers to venues across England and Wales. We do not deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. Most orders need at least two to three weeks' notice, and summer weddings and exhibitions at major venues should be booked further ahead to guarantee stock.
Prices include delivery and collection. All furniture arrives clean. Chairs are stacked on pallets. Tables ship assembled or flat-packed depending on the model. Setup crews are available for large events where dressing time on site is limited. Large orders can be reserved in advance through the Large Order Deposit Scheme with a 25% deposit. If your order includes crockery or glassware, the Send It Back Dirty service is available for those items. The Minor Damage Waiver covers accidental damage to hired items during your event.
Expo Hire does not charge a security deposit. A free minor damage waiver covers minor damage and loss. Excessive or negligent damage is charged at 10 times the hire price. Full details in our terms and conditions.
