All crockery, glassware and cutlery hired through Expo Hire. After your event, pack the items as they arrived — in the original crates, lids on. Return them ready for collection. No additional charge applies.
Our commercial dishwashers clean faster and more thoroughly than handwashing at a venue after an event. Washing items in a rush also increases breakage risk from stacking and handling. Returning items dirty is faster for you and produces better results for us — so we cover the cleaning at no charge.
All other hire items — furniture, cooking equipment, bars, linen and outdoor equipment — should be returned clean and dry, packed as they arrived. The dirty return service covers tableware only.
Items returned with broken glass mixed in with intact items, or with contamination beyond normal food residue, may incur additional handling charges.
Crockery, glassware and cutlery returned in heavily soiled condition — including items with dried food, lipstick or grease buildup requiring extended soaking — may also incur a cleaning surcharge.
