Expo Hire hires stainless steel chafing dishes in full and half-size configurations, used with gel fuel canisters for up to 2 hours of sustained warmth per canister.
Chafing dishes are standard for any buffet-style event where food must be held at temperature for 1 to 2 hours. They are used at wedding buffets and wedding breakfasts with shared service, at conference lunches, and at any event where a commercial kitchen is not available on site for continuous cooking.
Always hire gel fuel canisters alongside the dishes, typically 2 canisters per dish for a 3 to 4 hour service period. Pair with other catering equipment for a complete temporary kitchen setup. Add serving spoons and tongs for each dish.
Expo Hire stocks chafing dishes in both full and half sizes. A typical wedding buffet for 120 guests would use 6 to 8 full-size chafing dishes. Order chafing fuel at the same time to avoid a separate charge.

Unlike many other event hire companies, Expo Hire do not charge a damage deposit when placing an order. Instead, we run a free minor damage waiver scheme to cover minor damage or loss, so you don’t need to worry if you break the odd glass or plate.
