Rectangular tablecloths for trestle tables and conference tables. The correct cloth size depends on the table length and the drop you want — a floor-length drop gives a formal finish, a lap-length drop leaves chair legs visible and works better for classroom and conference layouts.

Common uses

Rectangular tablecloths suit conference and seminar layouts, top tables at formal dinners, buffet service tables, registration desks, and exhibition display tables. For buffet service where cloths take heavy use from food and drink, white is the most practical — staining is less visible on white during service, and the cloths launder cleanly at the depot after the event.

Pair with trestle tables, napkins and crockery from the same basket. For top table settings, round banqueting tables with circular cloths handle the guest dining area while rectangular cloths cover the top table and buffet stations.

FAQ

Does linen need to be washed before returning?

No. Fold dry and pack in the original bags. Expo Hire handles commercial laundering at the depot.

What is the difference between lap drop and floor drop?

A lap drop hangs to approximately chair-seat height, leaving table and chair legs partially visible. A floor drop hangs to the floor, covering everything below the table top. For formal dinners and presentations, floor drop is the standard choice. For conference and classroom use, lap drop is more practical.
