Blue Seal Turbofan 3kW for hire. Fan-circulated heat for baking and roasting. Requires a dedicated 3kW supply. Suits pop-up kitchens, events and festivals.

The Blue Seal Turbofan is one of the most widely hired commercial convection ovens in event catering. Fan-forced heat circulates evenly across all rack positions, cutting cooking times by 25 to 30 per cent compared with conventional ovens and eliminating the hot spots that cause uneven results when cooking large batches. The 3kW electric element gives consistent, controllable heat without relying on a gas supply at the venue.
A convection oven uses a built-in fan to circulate hot air across the food rather than relying on radiant heat from an element or burner alone. The practical effect is faster, more even cooking — you can run four trays on four different shelf positions and expect consistent results across all of them. Without the fan, trays on lower shelves cook faster than those at the top and items at the back cook differently from those at the front. For catering to 50+ covers where timing across a large batch is critical, the convection fan makes the difference between consistent service and a chaotic kitchen.
The Blue Seal Turbofan is used in hotel kitchens, event catering operations, and pop-up restaurant setups across England and Wales. It is the hire industry's standard choice because of its reliability under back-to-back use, the accuracy of its thermostat, and the speed at which it reaches operating temperature.
Connect to a 13A standard socket for lower-demand baking, reheating, and warming applications. For full continuous commercial operation at temperatures above 220°C, a 16A commando socket provides more stable power supply. Most modern venues have 16A commando outlets in kitchen areas — confirm with your venue contact before the event if you need high-temperature operation throughout service.
Preheat time to operating temperature is 10 to 15 minutes. The thermostat controls temperature from 50°C to 300°C. The fan switch can be turned off for dishes that require static heat — certain cakes, soufflés, and delicate pastries cook better in a static environment where the fan might disturb rising or drying.
Multiple trays can run simultaneously on different shelves. Reduce the temperature by 10 to 20°C from conventional oven recipes and check food 10 minutes earlier than the recipe suggests — fan ovens cook faster. Rotate trays halfway through if cooking on more than two shelves simultaneously.
For high-volume event catering serving 200+ covers, two Turbofan units running simultaneously doubles capacity without doubling footprint in the way a large range oven would. Each unit is independent — one can be running at 180°C for chicken while the other runs at 200°C for roasting vegetables. Two units and one operator can manage a continuous service of 300+ covers in a professionally organised temporary kitchen.
Pair with a 6-ring LPG gas oven for venues without adequate electric supply, or as a second cooking type where the gas oven handles large pot work alongside the convection oven's tray baking.

Unless the two person carriage charge has been paid for, deliveries and collections are made by a single driver, who has 15 minutes to deliver or collect your order.
Our drivers are not allowed to take items up or down stairs or use any lift without prior approval, and all deliveries need to be made within 50 metres of the vehicle. Any delays beyond the standard delivery time caused by access issues or items not being ready will be charged at £120 per hour or part thereof.
If a driver arrives and delivery or collection is impossible then unfortunately a wasted journey charge will apply. You will be sent a live tracking link so you can monitor your delivery in real time — our drivers do not make phone calls to notify of arrival times.
If access to collecting the hired equipment is denied, blocked, or impassable, a wasted collection journey will be automatically charged. Any parking tickets issued to vehicles whilst executing a delivery or collection will be charged for whilst we appeal.
