Gas and charcoal barbecues allow outdoor events to offer hot food without the need for a fixed kitchen. Expo Hire hires commercial-grade BBQs in a range of sizes, suitable for garden parties, festivals and large outdoor events where guests are catered for over several hours.
BBQ hire is most in demand for summer garden parties, summer parties and outdoor festivals and fetes. A single large gas BBQ can cater for 50 to 80 guests over a 2 to 3 hour service window. For events of 100 guests or more, two BBQs or a combination of gas and charcoal is more practical.
BBQs must not be used in enclosed or covered areas without adequate ventilation.
Gas BBQs require propane gas; see gas bottle hire. Pair with barbecue accessories and outdoor catering equipment. For seated BBQ dining, add outdoor tables and chairs.
Expo Hire stocks gas and charcoal BBQs for hire. Gas bottles should be ordered at the same time as the BBQ to avoid a separate delivery. Specify your expected guest count so we can advise on the right number of BBQs.

Unlike many other event hire companies, Expo Hire do not charge a damage deposit when placing an order. Instead, we run a free minor damage waiver scheme to cover minor damage or loss, so you don’t need to worry if you break the odd glass or plate. We do charge for excessive or negligent loss or damage at 10x the hire price. Please check our terms and conditions for full details.

Want to know when your delivery is coming? You can track your driver using our real time maps on the day of delivery and collection. Simply enter your postcode and order number into our order tracking page and find out when our driver will be with you. You can also use the link we send you by automated text.
At Expo Hire we’ve got lots of experience of dealing with events at the larger end of the spectrum. We know that they take months of planning, and sometimes budgetary constraints can prevent early ordering. If your hire charge is over £500, you can now book your hire equipment with just a 25% deposit, paying the remainder up to 28 days prior to delivery.
