Cocktail furniture suits events where guests are expected to stand, move around and talk rather than sit for extended periods. Drinks receptions, networking events, product launches, awards evenings with a standing cocktail hour, and birthday parties all use poseur tables as the primary furniture rather than dining tables.
Our poseur tables are counter-height — 110cm tall — and seat two to four people on bar stools comfortably, or serve as a standing surface for six. The metallic silver and black leather finishes suit most corporate and evening event colour schemes.
For a drinks reception of 80 guests, 8–10 poseur tables gives enough surface space without the room feeling cluttered. Space them at least 1.5 metres apart to allow guests to move freely between tables.
Bar stools pair directly with poseur tables — two per table is the working minimum, four per table for a more relaxed setup where guests are expected to linger. New Moon bar stools in white, black and red are available, along with the Chester bar stool. Mix colours if the event palette supports it, or keep to a single colour for a cleaner look.
Bar stools are also useful alongside traditional dining setups at high tables near a bar area or at a cocktail-hour staging point before guests move to their seats.
Stretch tablecloths fit poseur tables and keep the surface protected and branded throughout the event. White and black stretch cloths are available in the standard poseur size and arrive ready to fit without additional clips or fasteners.
For events that transition from a standing reception to a seated dinner, poseur tables in the reception area and round tables in the dining area can be ordered together on a single delivery. The poseur furniture is collected on the same run as the dining furniture at the end of the event.
