The challenge of election hire

Counting halls are often large public buildings — leisure centres, conference halls, exhibition spaces — that are in normal use until polling closes at 10pm. The setup window is short, the deadline is absolute and the count cannot begin until the room is ready. At a general election, the pressure to count quickly is intense. Getting the furniture in and laid out correctly is not optional.

Delivery and setup

We work around polling close — delivering and setting up after 10pm where required, or earlier in the day for venues that can accommodate a daytime setup. Collection is arranged after the declaration.
