Tadley is a town in Hampshire. It is located six miles north of Basingstoke and twelve miles southwest of Reading. The town grew rapidly between the 1950s and 1980s as many houses in the area were built for workers from the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment which was located at the nearby former RAF Aldermaston site.
