Hire a 10m VIP Red Carpet Package with 16 chrome posts & 14 blue ropes. Large stock, online booking, competitive prices. Delivery England & Wales.
Expo Hire provides a complete VIP entrance solution with our Red Carpet Package. This hire includes 10 metres of vibrant red carpet, designed to create an immediate sense of occasion. Accompanying the carpet are 16 polished chrome stanchion posts, each fitted with a solid, weighted base for stability. These posts support 14 lengths of luxurious blue velour rope, each tipped with a polished chrome clip for easy attachment.
This package is ideal for defining a clear pathway and managing guest flow at high-profile events. The combination of the striking red carpet and the elegant chrome and blue rope barriers creates a sophisticated atmosphere, signalling a special entrance for your guests.
Setting up the VIP Red Carpet Package is straightforward. Position the chrome posts at approximately 1.5-metre intervals along the desired length of your red carpet. The weighted bases provide stability on flat, level surfaces. Attach the blue velour ropes by clipping the chrome ends directly into the eyelets located at the top of each post. Ensure the bases are aligned to avoid any tripping hazards for your guests.
There are many different styles of barrier hire, which work for a number of different spaces and setups. We have three main types available which are ropes and posts, tensabarriers and picket fences.
Rope and post barrier hire is often used for events where a VIP space needs to be sectioned off, for example a red carpet entrance area. While the ropes and posts cordon off space, they are more for decorative value than any kind of security.
We offer rope barrier hire in a multitude of colours, as well as both chrome and gold-coloured metal posts. Ropes have a clip at each end to allow them to be attached to posts. These clips can also be in chrome and gold-coloured configurations.

Tensabarriers don’t have quite the same VIP look like ropes and posts do but are a bit more secure and are great for constructing queueing areas. Each tensabarrier post comes with a 2m retractable tape which can be attached to another tensabarrier, which can quickly be put together to section off space.
Our picket fences for hire are a great decorative way of sectioning space into areas and are particularly useful for big festivals and exhibitions. Our fences are painted white and are free-standing in supplied “feet” but cannot be linked to each other.
When you place large event hire orders with Expo Hire, you can pay just a 25% deposit to secure your booking. This helps manage your budget for significant event planning. We also offer a reliable delivery service across the UK.

Want to know when your delivery is coming? You can track your driver using our real-time maps on the day of delivery and collection. Simply enter your postcode and order number on our order tracking page and find out when our driver will arrive. We also send an automated text with a tracking link on the day.
You should place posts at 1.5-metre intervals. For example, a 4-metre carpet requires six posts and four ropes to create a complete barrier on both sides.
These posts are suitable for use on flat, level ground only. Avoid using them on soft grass or uneven surfaces, as the weighted bases may become unstable.
Each blue velour rope measures 1.5 metres in length. You can calculate your total required rope length based on your carpet size and the number of post intervals you create.
These specific posts use fixed chrome eyelets designed for velour ropes only. They do not contain retractable webbing tapes.

Our drivers are not allowed to take items up or down stairs or use any lift without prior approval, and all deliveries need to be made within 50 metres of the vehicle. Any delays beyond the standard delivery time caused by access issues or items not being ready will be charged at £120 per hour or part thereof.

If access to collecting the hired equipment is denied, blocked, or impassable, a wasted collection journey will be automatically charged. Any parking tickets issued to vehicles whilst executing a delivery or collection will be charged for whilst we appeal.
