Wedding furniture hire across England and Wales
Expo Hire supplies chairs, tables, linen, and tableware for wedding receptions, ceremonies, and evening celebrations. We deliver directly to venues and private addresses across England and Wales. All items are available to book online with live stock availability, so you know exactly what is confirmed before you check out.
Wedding chairs
Chair choice sets the visual tone for the whole reception. Our most popular wedding styles:
- Chiavari chairs — available in limewash, white, and gold finishes. The classic choice for formal receptions and marquee weddings. Supplied with padded seat cushions.
- Cross Back chairs — also called Wishbone or farm chairs. Popular for rustic barn and outdoor wedding themes.
- Ghost-style clear chairs — a contemporary option that suits almost any colour scheme and photographs well.
- Folding chairs — practical and stackable, often used for ceremony seating that is later moved for dining.
All chair types are available individually or as sets. Browse our full chair range.
Wedding tables
We supply round and rectangular banqueting tables in a range of sizes to suit your room layout and guest count.
- Round banqueting tables — available from 3ft to 6ft diameter. A 5ft table seats 8 guests; a 6ft table seats 10. Round tables encourage conversation and suit most reception venues.
- Trestle tables — 6ft and 8ft options for top tables, buffet runs, and communal dining. Lightweight and quick to set up.
- Poseur tables — tall bar-height tables for drinks receptions and standing areas.
- Cake tables — smaller occasional tables for cake displays and gift areas.

Wedding linen
We provide tablecloths, napkins, and table runners sized for all our standard tables. White and ivory are always in stock; other colours are available subject to availability. All linen is laundered and pressed before despatch. See our linen options.
Tableware and glassware
Crockery, cutlery, and glassware can be added to any order. We supply dinner plates, side plates, soup bowls, and dessert plates as individual items or as full place settings. Wine glasses, champagne flutes, and water glasses are available by the dozen. Linen and crockery can be returned unwashed — our team handles cleaning after collection. Browse tableware.
Ordering and delivery
All items can be reserved online. Our booking calendar shows availability in real time so you can confirm your order without a back-and-forth with the team. We recommend booking wedding furniture at least three months before your event date, and earlier for peak summer weekends.
Delivery and collection are arranged at checkout. We deliver throughout England and Wales to venues, hotels, marquees, and private addresses. Our logistics team can coordinate arrival times with your venue coordinator.
Frequently asked questions
- How far in advance should I book wedding furniture hire?
- Three to six months in advance is the usual recommendation for summer and bank holiday weekends. For midweek or off-season dates, six to eight weeks is typically sufficient. Book as soon as your guest count is confirmed.
- How many chairs and tables do I need?
- Count one chair per guest for the reception, plus two or three spares. For round tables seating 8 to 10 guests, divide your total guest count by 9 to get a rough table number. Add one or two extra tables for the top table, gift table, and cake display.
- Can I mix chair styles for ceremony and reception?
- Yes. Many couples use folding chairs for the ceremony and Chiavari or Cross Back chairs for the reception. We can deliver both in the same consignment.
- Do you deliver to barns and outdoor venues?
- We deliver anywhere in England and Wales with road access. For marquee events on private land, let us know the postcode and access details at checkout. Our team will confirm any additional logistics requirements.
- Is linen included in the furniture hire price?
- Linen is priced and booked separately. This lets you choose the exact colours and drop lengths for your table sizes.
- What happens if something is damaged at our event?
- Minor wear is expected and covered. Significant damage — broken chair frames, stained tablecloths beyond normal use — is charged at the replacement rate listed in your hire agreement. Crockery and glassware are subject to a standard breakage allowance.
