Mobile bar counters

Create a focal point for your guests with our mobile bar counters. We stock straight bars and curved bars to fit different venue shapes. LED bars add illumination for evening events. These units clip together to build the correct size for your guest numbers.

Bar fridges and coolers

Keep your drinks cold at events without a permanent kitchen. Our under-counter bar fridges slide beneath the bar units. We also stock upright double-door fridges for larger volumes. Ensure your venue has sufficient power sockets and circuits to run multiple compressors.

Glassware and bar accessories

Equip your bartenders with the right tools. Choose ice buckets, speed rails, bottle openers and non-slip bar mats. Supply your drinks in the correct glasses. Visit our Glassware Hire section for wine glasses, champagne flutes, highballs and shot glasses.

Staffing and licensing

Expo Hire supplies the physical equipment for your bar. We do not provide bar staff or bartenders. You remain responsible for obtaining Temporary Event Notices or premises licences if you plan to sell alcohol.

FAQs

How large a bar do I need for my event?

We recommend one metre of bar counter for every fifty guests. This prevents long queues and gives your bartenders enough space to mix drinks.

Do the mobile bars come with built-in sinks?

No, our mobile bar counters provide serving surfaces and storage space. You need a separate back-of-house area for washing glasses.

Can I use the bar fridges outside?

You must place bar fridges inside a marquee or building. They require protection from rain and direct sunlight to remain safe and maintain cold temperatures.

Do you supply ice?

We supply the ice buckets and coolers, but we do not sell consumable items like ice, fruit or drinks.
