Event organisers and caterers hire our classic white crockery to serve meals at functions. Our stock supports large guest numbers for formal dinners, corporate lunches, or private celebrations.
Our core tableware range is classic white china, designed for durability and versatility. We stock individual pieces including rimmed dinner plates measuring 26cm in diameter. Side plates are available at 19cm. For starters, we offer 23cm soup or pasta bowls. Dessert plates are 17cm and dessert bowls are 13cm. Cups and saucers complete individual place settings for hot beverages. For buffet and sharing options, we supply various sizes of serving platters, serving bowls, and lidded buffet dishes.
Tableware is necessary for any event involving food service. This includes weddings, charity galas, corporate banquets, and private parties. Guests use dinner plates for main courses and side plates for bread or appetizers. Our soup bowls suit liquid starters, while dessert bowls accommodate puddings. Serving platters and dishes are suitable for buffets, canapés, or family-style dining. You can order individual items to build custom place settings or choose from pre-defined place setting options for convenience.
Calculate your required quantities based on your menu and guest count. A typical three-course meal requires one dinner plate, one side plate, one starter/soup bowl, and one dessert plate per guest. Add serving dishes and platters as needed for shared food. Expo Hire collects all used tableware 'dirty'. Scrape off any major food debris before packing items back into their delivery crates. Do not attempt to wash crockery before return; a cleaning charge is included in the hire price.
Expo Hire does not charge a security deposit. A free minor damage waiver covers minor damage and loss. Excessive or negligent damage is charged at 10 times the hire price. Full details in our terms and conditions.
