Three-tier steel afternoon tea stand, 490mm tall, with white ceramic plates. Hire for weddings, garden parties, corporate lunches. Online booking,…

Organising a formal catering service requires practical presentation equipment. Securing an afternoon tea stand - large hire gives your event a focal point for serving scones, sandwiches, and pastries. This 490mm tall unit features a steel frame that holds three tiers of plates, drawing the eye upwards and saving valuable surface area on your tables. You can present multiple courses simultaneously without crowding the dining space. Event organisers rely on tiered displays to manage portion distribution during busy service periods.
Each stand weighs 2.50kg and measures 290mm wide by 295mm deep. We supply plain white ceramic plates with every unit, accommodating diameters between 215mm and 270mm. You avoid the hassle of sourcing matching crockery from different suppliers. Pairing these stands with our table hire options creates a uniform layout across your venue. Professional caterers and hotel managers use this three-tier setup to serve large groups at scale. The vertical design keeps food accessible while leaving room for teapots, cups, and cutlery.
Hosting a busy corporate function or a charity luncheon generates a significant amount of washing up. Expo Hire includes a "Send It Back Dirty" service with this product. Your team returns the ceramics unwashed, and we handle the cleaning at our Birmingham depot. Every order also includes a free Minor Damage Waiver, covering accidental chips or scratches to the items during your event. No other UK hire company offers this level of standard cover. You save hours of post-event labour and reduce turnaround times.
Coordinating equipment deliveries demands accurate timing. We operate 11 regional depots across England and Wales, calculating delivery from £40 ex-VAT based on the road distance to your venue. On the day of your event, you receive an SMS with an estimated time of arrival and a link to track your driver live. You can also integrate these stands with our wider catering equipment hire inventory to complete your service setup. Our transport team delivers directly to your loading bay or goods entrance.
All transactions take place through our digital platform. You do not need to pay a security deposit, and orders over £1,000 qualify for a 25% advance deposit option. Stock levels and prices appear live on this page. Add your required quantities to the basket and confirm your dates online.

Unless the two person carriage charge has been paid for, deliveries and collections are made by a single driver, who has 15 minutes to deliver or collect your order.
Our drivers are not allowed to take items up or down stairs or into lifts, and all deliveries need to be made within 50 metres of the vehicle. Any delays beyond the standard delivery time caused by access issues or items not being ready will be charged at £120 per hour or part thereof.
If a driver arrives and delivery or collection is impossible then unfortunately a wasted journey charge will apply. You will be sent a live tracking link so you can monitor your delivery in real time — our drivers do not make phone calls to notify of arrival times.
If access to collecting the hired equipment is denied, blocked, or impassable, a wasted collection journey will be automatically charged. Any parking tickets issued to vehicles whilst executing a delivery or collection will be charged for whilst we appeal.
