Hire Afternoon Tea Stand - Large for weddings and receptions. 290mm x 295mm x 490mm. No deposit. Delivery across England and Wales.

Three-tier afternoon tea stands present sandwiches, scones and pastries at table height in a format guests can reach without passing plates across the table. Each guest or small group of guests gets their own stand. The vertical design saves table space compared to a flat spread and creates the visual look associated with afternoon tea service at hotels, wedding venues and corporate lunches.
The stand itself is steel framed with three tiers. Three white ceramic plates are included with each unit — one per tier. The plates fit diameters between 215mm and 270mm. The stand measures 290mm wide by 295mm deep and stands 490mm tall. At 2.5kg it is light enough to reposition during service without moving everything on the table.
Wedding breakfasts and afternoon receptions are the most common booking. Hotel-style afternoon tea is a popular format for hen parties, baby showers, charity fundraisers and corporate client lunches. The tiered stand is the defining piece of equipment for this service style — it immediately signals to guests what kind of experience they are having. Corporate hospitality suites, board meeting lunches and VIP event catering all use the same stand when the brief calls for an elevated presentation.
Garden parties and outdoor events book these stands when the venue is informal but the food service needs to be elegant. They work on standard tables, trestle tables and bistro tables.
One large stand per two to four guests is the standard ratio for a full afternoon tea service. For a wedding with 80 guests on 5ft round tables (eight per table), four stands per table gives each pair of guests their own. For a corporate lunch where individual service matters, one stand per two guests is typical. You can mix large and small stands on the same order if space on the table is a constraint for some covers.
White ceramic plates are included in the hire price. You return them dirty — the Send It Back Dirty service is included. Pack them back into the crates at the end of service and we handle the washing at the depot. This is a significant time saving at the end of an afternoon tea event where the service team needs to turn the room quickly.

Unless the two person carriage charge has been paid for, deliveries and collections are made by a single driver, who has 15 minutes to deliver or collect your order.
Our drivers are not allowed to take items up or down stairs or into lifts, and all deliveries need to be made within 50 metres of the vehicle. Any delays beyond the standard delivery time caused by access issues or items not being ready will be charged at £120 per hour or part thereof.
If a driver arrives and delivery or collection is impossible then unfortunately a wasted journey charge will apply. You will be sent a live tracking link so you can monitor your delivery in real time — our drivers do not make phone calls to notify of arrival times.
If access to collecting the hired equipment is denied, blocked, or impassable, a wasted collection journey will be automatically charged. Any parking tickets issued to vehicles whilst executing a delivery or collection will be charged for whilst we appeal.
