Garden Games Hire

Hire garden games for outdoor events, parties and weddings.

Garden games give guests something to do while the rest of the event takes shape. They work well during the drinks reception, between courses, or while the wedding party takes photographs.

Garden Games Available

Expo Hire stocks garden games for events across England and Wales:

  • Giant Jenga. Oversized wooden blocks for outdoor play. Suitable for grass or hard standing.
  • Table Tennis. Full-size tables with bats and balls. Works indoors or outdoors on a level surface.
  • Giant Chess. Large-format pieces on a mat board. No assembly beyond positioning the pieces.
  • Boules. Traditional French petanque sets for grass or gravel.
  • Pool Tables. Slate-bed tables for indoor corporate events.
  • Air Hockey. Self-contained tables on a standard 13A supply.

We inspect and clean every game between hires. Delivery and collection come with every order. No security deposit required.

Suitable Events

Games suit the drinks reception at a wedding or corporate event. They keep guests busy while staff prepare the dining room. Summer festivals and school events work well too — games draw in guests of different ages without needing someone to organise them.

Combine games with outdoor furniture hire, picnic benches and parasols, to build a garden area guests can use through the event.

How to Order

Select your hire dates on the garden games page to check live stock and pricing. Orders over £500 placed more than 28 days ahead qualify for a 25% deposit scheme. Delivery starts from £40 ex-VAT, calculated by road distance from our nearest depot.

How many games do you need?

For a drinks reception of 60 to 80 guests, two or three game stations keep people busy without taking over the whole space. For a larger garden party, you may want one game near the bar and another near the seating area so guests do not crowd one corner. Gaming hire works best when you leave clear walkways around each item and keep the ground level.

Table tennis needs a firm surface and enough space for players to move around both ends. Giant Jenga works on grass or hard standing, but it should sit on flat ground so the tower stays square. If rain may hit the event, plan an indoor fallback area before the start.

Useful add-ons for outdoor events

Garden games often go out with outdoor furniture, poseur tables, and glassware for the drinks area. Some organisers also add parasols, benches, or extra folding chairs so guests can watch and chat between rounds. If children and adults will use the same space, put the games where staff can keep an eye on them and where service routes stay clear for caterers.

Expo Hire delivers garden games across England and Wales with live stock shown online. That lets you check availability before you book and add games to the same order as the rest of your event kit.
