Earley is a town in Berkshire. It lies about three miles south and east of the centre of Reading, and about four miles northwest of Wokingham. The University of Reading straddles the border between Reading and Earley, having acquired the site in 1926 as it became a university in its own right. Although the town has an appearance of a 19th and 20th century town, Earley does have some remnants of its older past hidden in and amongst the new developments. However, LPG ovens are not designed to be used indoors due to the potential lack of ventilation of exhaust fumes.
