Regular visitors to our websites may have noticed a significant change to our online presence. As part of our ongoing development, we have brought all our former regional websites together under one at Expohire.com, cementing our position as one of the UK's leading online-only event hire companies.
Here is what has changed and what it means for customers.
This has been the result of more than twelve months of work from our technical team. The focus was not only on improving the look and feel of the website but on how we operate as a business. Improved internal processes, including inventory control and logistics systems, have led us to a place where we can show live stock levels online and offer live delivery tracking for every order.
Live stock levels mean what they say: if a product shows as available for your chosen dates, that stock is genuinely available. There is no manual stock check needed and no waiting for a callback to confirm availability. You book it, it is yours.
Delivery tracking gives customers visibility of exactly where their order is on delivery day. Automated texts confirm your slot in the morning, and a second notification is sent when the driver is on their way. This is especially useful for venue managers coordinating equipment delivery around other suppliers and contractors.
Local pricing has also improved. We still offer delivery from as little as £40 plus VAT, and our website automatically assigns your order to the closest hub to your venue to keep costs as low as possible.
Our hub network across England and Wales means that customers in most areas are served by a local depot rather than a single national distribution centre. Shorter delivery routes translate to lower costs for local customers and greater flexibility on delivery timing.
Our technical team has worked to migrate past order history to the new website. However, old customer accounts have not been recreated automatically. Regular customers need to re-register on Expo Hire using the email address from their past orders to access those details online. If any past orders are not showing after re-registration, contact us via live chat or email support@expohire.com and we will sort it out.
