Live Stock Levels and Delivery Tracking

Our technical team dedicated over twelve months to this project. The focus extended beyond aesthetics to fundamentally improve how we operate. Enhanced internal processes, including inventory control and logistics management, now allow us to display live stock availability online and provide real-time delivery tracking for every order.

Live stock levels mean precisely that. If a product appears available for your selected dates, that specific stock is reserved for you. There is no need for manual checks or waiting for a confirmation call. You book it, and it is yours.

Delivery tracking offers you complete visibility of your order's progress on the day of delivery. You will receive an automated text message in the morning confirming your delivery slot. A second notification follows when the driver is en route. This is particularly valuable for venue managers who need to coordinate equipment arrivals with other suppliers and contractors.

Lower Local Delivery Costs

We have also improved our local delivery pricing. You can still secure delivery from as little as £40 plus VAT. Our website automatically assigns your order to the nearest Expo Hire hub to your venue, ensuring the lowest possible delivery cost.

Our network of hubs across England and Wales means most customers are served by a local depot, not a single national distribution centre. Shorter delivery routes result in lower costs for local events and greater flexibility in delivery timing.

What Has Changed for Regular Customers

Our technical team has migrated your past order history to the new website. However, old customer accounts were not automatically recreated. To access your previous order details online, you need to re-register on Expo Hire.com using the email address associated with your past orders.   • We have also increased our stock of tables. This includes a wider variety of sizes and shapes, such as 6ft trestle tables (ideal for catering or display), round banqueting tables (seating 8-10 guests), and smaller bistro tables for more intimate settings. For instance, a 6ft trestle table measures approximately 1.83 metres long and 0.76 metres wide, offering substantial surface area.
  • Our linen hire collection now includes a broader spectrum of colours and fabric types. You can select from crisp white tablecloths, elegant black napkins, or vibrant coloured runners to complement your event's theme. We offer standard sizes such as 2.29m x 1.52m tablecloths for rectangular tables and 2.5m diameter tablecloths for 1.8m round tables, ensuring a perfect drape.
  • We have added more catering equipment, including commercial-grade ovens, warming cabinets, and a wider selection of crockery and glassware. This ensures you have all the necessary tools for professional food service, whether you are catering for 50 or 500 guests. For example, our commercial ovens can typically bake up to 100 portions of a specific item per hour, depending on the model.
