Wilton is a town in Wiltshire which dates back to Anglo-Saxon times. The town is located to the west of Salisbury on the edge of Camborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Wilton was the county town of Wiltshire for a period between the 9th and 11th centuries and an abbey was founded in the town in 771 AD.
