The Kings Manor Wedding Hire

The Kings Manor is a Grade I listed building in York, and is part of the University of York. It is located on Exhibition Square, in York city centre. It was originally built to house the abbots of St Mary's Abbey, Yorl. The house has probably occupied the site since the 11th century, but the earliest remains date from the 15th century. When the abbey was dissolved in 1539, King Henry VIII instructed that it be the seat of the Council of the North, which it was until that Council was abolished in 1641. Nowadays, this building can be hired for conferences, meetings and seminars for up to 90 delegates in four different spaces.
