Rothwell is a town in Northamptonshire, located about four miles northwest of Kettering, seven miles southeast of Market Harborough and eight miles southwest of Corby. The town was granted a royal charter in 1204 by King John, giving it the right to hold a market every Monday. This is celebrated annually by the week long Rowell Fair, which takes place in May each year. Holy Trinity Church in the town is a Grade I listed building, with windows dating from the 11th century and the west tower dating from 1170.
