Hallé St Peter's was builtin 1858 and has a rich and varied history. Once a busy church, the building was used as a warehouse after 1960 before being abandoned in the early 1980's. At this time it had received Grade II listed status as part of the Ancoats Conservation Area. The building was restored thanks to funding from various sources and brought back to it's original brilliance. The building is now available for hire not just as a wedding venue, but also a place where corporate events such as conferences, meetings and seminars can take place.
