Dudley is a town in the West Midlands. It is six miles southeast of Wolverhampton, and about ten miles northwest of Birmingham. It borders West Bromwich to the east and Brierley Hill to the south. Originally a market town, Dudley is one of the birthplaces of the Industrial Revolution and grew into an industrial centre thanks to its iron, coal and limestone industries.
