We maintain a stock of essential wine glass styles. Our red wine glasses typically feature a generous bowl, ranging from 350ml to 450ml. This allows red wines to aerate properly, opening up their bouquets. They are a standard choice for seated dinners and functions where a specific red wine is served.
For white wines, we offer glasses with a slightly more upright, narrower bowl. This design helps to preserve the wine's chilled temperature and direct its delicate aromas towards the nose. These are suitable for receptions, tastings, and multi-course meals.
We also supply goblet style wine glasses. These are distinguished by their robust stem and a larger, versatile bowl, often used for water, more full-bodied red wines, or as an all-purpose table glass. Our glasses are manufactured from clear, durable glass, ensuring they complement any table setting without clashing with décor.
When planning your glassware requirements, consider the format and duration of your event. For a formal dinner with wine service, guests might use one red wine glass, one white wine glass, and potentially a water goblet. For standing receptions or less formal gatherings, typically one or two wine glasses per guest should suffice over the course of the event. We recommend ordering an additional 10-15% of your total to account for breakages or unforeseen needs.
Expo Hire delivers all glassware securely packed. We collect used glasses unwashed; there is no requirement for you to clean them post-event. This simplifies your clear-up process.
Expo Hire does not charge a security deposit. A free minor damage waiver covers minor damage and loss. Excessive or negligent damage is charged at 10 times the hire price. Full details in our terms and conditions.
