For example, a single heater covers a typical seating area for 6-8 people. Place heaters at strategic points to maximise coverage without creating 'hot spots' or restricting guest flow. Operating Expo Hire patio heaters is straightforward. Each unit features a push-button piezo ignition system for simple and quick startup. You prioritise guest safety at any event. Each heater includes a tilt switch safety mechanism. This mechanism cuts off the gas supply if the unit tips over. A flame failure device stops the gas flow if the main burner flame extinguishes, preventing gas leaks. You must position heaters on a flat, stable surface, away from any flammable materials, low-hanging foliage, or overhead structures like gazebos and marquees. Allow clear overhead space of at least 1 metre from the top of the heater. For fuel, these heaters operate on standard 19kg propane gas bottles. They fit well within the heater's base, out of sight and protected. Propane offers a clean-burning, efficient fuel source suitable for outdoor heating. A single 19kg propane gas bottle provides 9-10 hours of continuous heat. Hire gas bottles alongside the heaters. Calculate your event duration and plan for spare gas bottles for longer events or if you hire multiple heaters. This provides continuous warmth without interruption.
