EventPro® is the core furniture range used across the Expo Hire fleet. Designed in-house, sourced directly from manufacturers, and tested against the demands of commercial hire before anything goes into stock.
Why we developed it
Standard furniture falls short under repeated commercial use. Frames loosen, finishes mark too easily, stacking becomes awkward and replacement items do not always match what was ordered before. We were not able to find products in the UK that held up to the way a hire fleet actually operates — loaded, unloaded, stacked and handled hundreds of times a year. So we designed our own.
We visit manufacturers in China directly, specifying the materials, construction methods and finish for each product. If a supplier cannot meet the standard, we find one who can or we redesign until they are able to.
What that means for you
When you hire furniture through Expo Hire, you are getting EventPro® stock. Products that have been put through exactly the conditions that break consumer-grade furniture. The chairs you receive have already survived hundreds of events before yours.
Two products we are particularly proud of: a three-leg beer bench that has since been widely copied because it is structurally more stable than the traditional two-leg version; and a folding chair specification we rebuilt from scratch so it holds up to commercial use rather than just looking like it might.
Where it has been used
EventPro® furniture has been supplied to the Commonwealth Games, the British Grand Prix, Wimbledon, Oxford University, and Google’s European headquarters in Ireland. It has held up at those events and it will hold up at yours.
