About the NEC

he National Exhibition Centre is located in Marston Green, Solihull close to both Birmingham International Airport and Birmingham International railway station. Opened in 1978, it has gone through various expansions and improvements to become the internationally renowned exhibition space it is today.

The NEC has a total of 20 interconnected halls offering a total of 190,000 square metres (2 million square feet) of floor space. Construction of the HS2 railway project will see a new railway station at Birmingham Interchange built close to the NEC and connected to the exhibition centre by a people mover.

The NEC Group also owns and operates Arena Birmingham and ICC Birmingham based in central Birmingham.
