BBC Good Food Show Birmingham
The BBC Good Food Show Birmingham runs every November at the NEC and draws food producers, specialist food brands, celebrity chefs, and a large consumer audience. Unlike most trade shows, it is open to the public, so exhibitors need stands that work for browsers and trade buyers alike.
Food and drink exhibitors run tasting stations, live cooking demonstrations, and sampling areas from their stands. The right catering equipment, crockery, and glassware make the difference between a stand that looks professional and one that doesn't.
Expo Hire hires catering equipment, glassware, crockery, and stand furniture to Good Food Show exhibitors. For wine and drinks sampling areas, our wine glasses and champagne flutes are a straightforward alternative to buying stock you will only use for a few days. We also stock a range of catering equipment for live cooking demos. Tables and chairs for visitor seating, and poseur tables for informal tastings, complete the picture.
We deliver direct to the NEC before load-in and collect after the show closes. For food and drink exhibitors this removes the need to transport fragile glassware and bulky catering equipment to and from Birmingham.

he National Exhibition Centre is located in Marston Green, Solihull close to both Birmingham International Airport and Birmingham International railway station. Opened in 1978, it has gone through various expansions and improvements to become the internationally renowned exhibition space it is today.
The NEC has a total of 20 interconnected halls offering a total of 190,000 square metres (2 million square feet) of floor space. There are 16,500 parking spaces spread out around the site, with a shuttle bus operating to and from all the car parks. Construction of the HS2 railway project will see a new railway station at Birmingham Interchange built close to the NEC and connected to the exhibition centre by a people mover.
Along with the Resorts World Arena, which is located on the NEC site, the National Exhibition Centre is operated by the NEC Group. The NEC Group also owns and operates Arena Birmingham and ICC Birmingham based in central Birmingham. Previously owned by Birmingham City Council, the NEC Group was sold to private investors in 2015 and is now owned by American investment company Blackstone.
At Expo Hire, we can appreciate the stress involved with setting up and breaking down a stand at an important exhibition and we want to do everything we can to help prevent it. We can deliver exhibition hire directly to your stand – simply confirm your event, hall and stand number when placing your order and we will do the rest.
