The Photography Show at the NEC Birmingham is the UK's largest dedicated photography event, attracting camera manufacturers, lens specialists, software vendors, and accessory brands over its four-day run. Stands range from small boutique displays to large manufacturer set-pieces running live demonstrations, workshops, and product launches.

Our EventPro® range is built for the hire trade rather than retail use. Every item maintains its appearance across the full run of the show. The NEC sits close to our primary Birmingham depot, giving us the infrastructure to fulfil same-day additions and meet tight loading bay windows during the Photography Show build-up.

Display Surfaces and Product Tables

Camera bodies, lenses, filters, and accessories need clean, well-presented surfaces. Our table hire range includes plain-topped options in multiple sizes. A fitted tablecloth in black or white keeps the display looking sharp and hides cables, spare stock, and charging equipment stored underneath. For locked overnight storage of high-value camera bodies, our showcase units offer glass-fronted display with secure locking.

Seating for Demos and Workshops

The Photography Show runs live shooting workshops and seated demonstrations throughout the day. Our chair hire range covers stacking conference chairs for workshop rows through to comfortable upholstered seating for VIP or media areas. Banqueting chairs stack compactly between sessions and set up quickly for the next group. For product consultation areas, a sofa and coffee table creates an informal zone suited to extended one-to-one discussions with serious buyers.

Poseur Tables and Aisle Engagement

Poseur tables placed near the stand frontage create a natural stopping point for delegates passing through the hall. Sales staff can stand behind them, making easy contact with the aisle traffic without blocking the entrance. Pair with bar stools when conversations develop into longer discussions about product specifications or pricing.

Staff Refreshments

Four days on the NEC show floor is demanding for any team. Our hot drinks equipment includes filter coffee machines and hot water boilers. For early-morning press days and end-of-day briefings, our glassware hire covers wine and champagne flutes from the same order. Our Send It Back Dirty policy applies to all crockery and glassware.

Delivery and Collection

Our transport team coordinates with the NEC loading bay schedule and delivers to your stand number during your allocated window. An SMS with an estimated arrival time and live tracking link goes out on the morning of delivery. Collection follows the same process after the final day. Delivery is calculated from £40 ex-VAT based on road distance from our Birmingham depot.

About the NEC

he National Exhibition Centre is located in Marston Green, Solihull close to both Birmingham International Airport and Birmingham International railway station. Opened in 1978, it has gone through various expansions and improvements to become the internationally renowned exhibition space it is today.

The NEC has a total of 20 interconnected halls offering a total of 190,000 square metres (2 million square feet) of floor space. There are 16,500 parking spaces spread out around the site, with a shuttle bus operating to and from all the car parks. Construction of the HS2 railway project will see a new railway station at Birmingham Interchange built close to the NEC and connected to the exhibition centre by a people mover.

Along with the Resorts World Arena, which is located on the NEC site, the National Exhibition Centre is operated by the NEC Group. The NEC Group also owns and operates Arena Birmingham and ICC Birmingham based in central Birmingham. Previously owned by Birmingham City Council, the NEC Group was sold to private investors in 2015 and is now owned by American investment company Blackstone.
