Product Description
The mushroom patio heater runs on LPG and delivers 13kW through a wide mushroom-shaped reflector head. The reflector disperses heat outward and downward across a wide area, keeping guests within a 3-4m radius warm. The unit is freestanding and stable in light wind. Gas bottle not included; hire the 13kg patio gas bottle alongside this unit.
Events this heater suits
- Pub garden and beer garden setups
- Outdoor wedding receptions and drinks areas
- Corporate outdoor events and summer parties
- Marquee forecourts and covered outdoor entrances
- Outdoor dining terraces in cooler months
Setup and use
Connect a 13kg gas bottle with a regulator and spanner, turn on the gas, and ignite using the built-in piezo ignition. Adjust output at the gas valve. Keep the unit on level ground and away from overhead cover that could trap heat. For multiple heaters across a large outdoor area, space them 4-6m apart for even coverage. Compare with the pyramid patio heater or browse the full patio heater range.
Planning your setup
One mushroom heater covers roughly 12-16sqm, depending on wind conditions. For events with multiple outdoor zones, hire one per zone. For enclosed spaces like gazebo interiors, the infrared gazebo heater is a ceiling-mount electric alternative. Browse the full outdoor heating hire range.

Patio heater hire near England and Wales
Keeping outdoor spaces warm can be a challenge in the Great British climate. Our patio heaters for hire are a great solution to ensuring that your guests can sit in comfort outdoors whether it's a lazy summer evening, a brisk autumnal day or a fresh spring afternoon.
We have two kinds of outdoor heater hire available; gas and electric. Electric patio heaters are great for focused heat on specific enclosed areas where there is a good power connection, while gas patio heaters are better for open areas which require heat to be radiated throughout the space.
We've sourced the best LPG patio heaters for hire to ensure that they are easy to start, reliable and fuel efficient. We also supply 13kg LPG bottles so that you don't need to worry about getting hold of fuel.
For those with huge spaces to heat, our space heaters for hire are perfect. These are a more industrial version of a patio heater, and are capable of heating large spaces for long periods of time.
