Hire VIP Red Carpet - 1m wide x 10m long for receptions and conferences. 1m x 10m. No deposit. Delivery across England and Wales.
A red carpet runner creates a defined arrival path for guests at awards nights, gala dinners, film premieres, product launches and charity events. This 1m wide by 10m long commercial-grade runner is the standard hire for indoor VIP entrances. It weighs 90kg, which means it stays flat and does not curl or shift when guests walk across it. The deep red colour reads well in photographs and works with most venue colour schemes.
Event planners use red carpet runners to define the entrance to a function room, direct guests from a lobby to a reception area, or create a press line for photographs at brand launches and charity galas. Film screenings, award ceremonies and fundraising dinners are the most common bookings. Corporate events that include a headline speaker or VIP arrival use it to signal the start of an experience before guests enter the main space.
Paired with chrome bollards and velvet ropes, the carpet forms a crowd control corridor that also doubles as a photo opportunity. Add a step-and-repeat banner stand or a branded backdrop and you have a complete arrivals setup from a single order.
The runner measures 1 metre wide by 10 metres long. The 1-metre width accommodates two people walking side by side, which is the standard size for a formal arrival walk. Ten metres covers most hotel and conference venue entrances comfortably. If you need a longer run, two runners can be positioned end to end. At 90kg the carpet lies flat without pinning or adhesive on smooth indoor surfaces such as marble, parquet, polished concrete and carpet tile.
This runner is designed for indoor use. Outdoor events should not use this product on grass, gravel or uneven surfaces. For outdoor arrivals, contact us to discuss alternatives. Indoor venues including hotel lobbies, conference centres, civic halls and purpose-built event spaces all work well.
Prices and live stock availability are shown on this page by date. Add the carpet to your basket, choose your delivery and collection dates, and confirm at checkout. No deposit is required. A free Minor Damage Waiver is included on every order. Delivery starts from £40 ex VAT, calculated by road distance from your nearest depot. Live GPS tracking is sent on delivery day so your venue team knows when the van arrives.
Most red carpet arrivals include barrier equipment. Rope and chrome bollard sets create a formal lane. If the event is a dinner or reception, pair the carpet order with chair hire, table hire, glassware hire and linen hire for the room layout. Everything can be added to the same basket and delivered together.
No. The 90kg weight keeps the runner flat on smooth indoor surfaces without fixings. On thicker carpet floors, test a corner on arrival to confirm it lies flat before guests arrive.
Yes. Bollards are sold separately and can be added to the same order. If you only need the runner, that is a straightforward booking.
The free Minor Damage Waiver covers accidental damage such as scuffs and minor staining. Significant damage outside the waiver scope would be assessed on return. In practice this is rare for indoor events.
It is not designed for outdoor use. Wet conditions and uneven surfaces damage the backing and create a trip hazard. For outdoor arrivals, contact us to discuss what alternatives we can offer.

Unless the two person carriage charge has been paid for, deliveries and collections are made by a single driver, who has 15 minutes to deliver or collect your order.
Our drivers are not allowed to take items up or down stairs or into lifts, and all deliveries need to be made within 50 metres of the vehicle. Any delays beyond the standard delivery time caused by access issues or items not being ready will be charged at £120 per hour or part thereof.
If a driver arrives and delivery or collection is impossible then unfortunately a wasted journey charge will apply. You will be sent a live tracking link so you can monitor your delivery in real time — our drivers do not make phone calls to notify of arrival times.
If access to collecting the hired equipment is denied, blocked, or impassable, a wasted collection journey will be automatically charged. Any parking tickets issued to vehicles whilst executing a delivery or collection will be charged for whilst we appeal.
