Book your storm saucer - 6. hire online. This light grey vitrified porcelain saucer measures 160mm x 160mm x 25mm and catches hot beverage spills.

High-volume catering environments require durable crockery that handles constant rotation between tables and kitchens. Securing a storm saucer - 6. hire provides your serving staff with a stable base for hot drinks. We supply this item in a light grey finish, manufactured from Porcelite Seasons Vitrified Porcelain to resist chipping and scratching during intense service. The vitrified material retains heat, keeping tea and coffee warm while attendees network or finish their meals. You can match this saucer with the Storm 12oz cup to build a complete beverage station.
Physical dimensions dictate how catering staff manage tray service and table layouts. Each unit measures 0.1600m in length and 0.1600m in width, with a low profile height of 0.0250m. Weighing just 0.23kg, waiters carry multiple saucers on serving trays without excessive strain during busy networking breaks. The design features an indented centre that locks the matching cup in place, reducing the chance of spills as guests carry their drinks across the room. A raised outer rim catches any drips before they reach your table linen, protecting expensive fabrics from coffee stains. Event planners frequently add these to their catering equipment hire orders to standardise their beverage service across multiple regional events, maintaining a uniform appearance for corporate clients.
Post-event cleanup consumes valuable time, especially with large quantities of crockery. Expo Hire operates a "Send It Back Dirty" policy across all catering items. You return the saucers unwashed in their transport crates, and our warehouse team handles the cleaning process. Every order includes a Free Minor Damage Waiver, covering accidental chips or breakages at no extra cost. Organisers needing a complete dining setup can browse our table hire inventory and book everything in a single transaction.
Logistics dictate the success of any large-scale catering operation, especially when coordinating multiple suppliers. We operate 11 regional depots, calculating your delivery fee from £40 based on the road distance from the nearest hub. On the day of your event, you receive live vehicle tracking and an SMS ETA, so your team knows exactly when the transport crates arrive at the venue loading bay. You can also opt for warehouse self-collection from our Birmingham headquarters between Monday and Friday, 7am to 3pm. Unlike many competitors, we require no security deposit for your order, freeing up your event budget for other priorities. Large corporate bookings benefit from our 25% advance deposit option on orders over £1,000, helping you manage cash flow leading up to the event date.
