Hire Ice Making Machine Compact for weddings and festivals. 20kg. Live stock online. No deposit. Delivery across England and Wales.
A compact under-counter ice machine producing 20kg of bullet ice per day. At 48cm wide, it fits under a standard bar counter and runs continuously throughout your event. Bullet ice is the standard format for drinks service — small enough to fill a highball glass or pint glass without blocking pouring, melts slowly, and stacks efficiently in an ice bucket or ice chest.
A 100-guest event using ice in drinks and on-table ice buckets typically gets through 15 to 25kg of ice across an evening. A 20kg/day machine running continuously will keep pace with a medium-sized bar throughout a six-hour event. For larger bars or multi-day events, plan on running the machine from the start of setup — bullet ice machines take around 90 minutes to reach operating temperature and begin producing at full rate.
The machine runs from a standard 13A UK socket — no three-phase supply or special cabling required. Connect to a cold water supply via the included inlet hose, run the waste pipe to a drain or a bucket, and plug in. Setup takes around ten minutes. Full instructions are included with delivery.
Bullet ice — small cylindrical pieces with a hollow centre — melts more slowly than crushed ice and fills a glass more efficiently than large cube ice. It is the standard format for draft lager, spirits-and-mixer, and soft drinks service at events. Ice buckets on dining tables for wine and champagne service work equally well with bullet ice. For a bar serving cocktails requiring large clear cube ice, note that this machine produces bullet ice only.

Unless the two person carriage charge has been paid for, deliveries and collections are made by a single driver, who has 15 minutes to deliver or collect your order.
Our drivers are not allowed to take items up or down stairs or into lifts, and all deliveries need to be made within 50 metres of the vehicle. Any delays beyond the standard delivery time caused by access issues or items not being ready will be charged at £120 per hour or part thereof.
If a driver arrives and delivery or collection is impossible then unfortunately a wasted journey charge will apply. You will be sent a live tracking link so you can monitor your delivery in real time — our drivers do not make phone calls to notify of arrival times.
If access to collecting the hired equipment is denied, blocked, or impassable, a wasted collection journey will be automatically charged. Any parking tickets issued to vehicles whilst executing a delivery or collection will be charged for whilst we appeal.
