50cm commercial glasswasher for hire. Cleans a full rack in under 2 minutes. For bars, events and temporary venues. Live stock, Sunday delivery, from £40.
A commercial stainless steel glass washer with a 50cm basket. Cleans a full rack in under two minutes — fast enough to keep pace with continuous bar service at festivals, corporate events, and large weddings. Two baskets are included so you can load the next rack while the current one is washing. Detergent and rinse aid are supplied with every hire.
The 320mm clearance height handles tall pint glasses and long-stemmed wine goblets alongside standard tumblers. Double filtration keeps wash water cleaner across the full service period, reducing the frequency of manual water changes on multi-hour events.
The unit requires a 13A power supply, a cold water feed, and a waste drain (gravity fed). It arrives clean, tested, and ready to connect. Fill the machine with the supplied detergent and rinse aid before first use. The cycle runs on a thermostat-controlled wash temperature — most units reach operating temperature within 5 minutes of switching on.
For events running longer than 4 hours, top up the rinse aid at the midpoint and check the filter. The double filtration system significantly extends the interval between filter cleans compared with single-filter machines, but it does need checking on long service shifts.
A glass washer cleans a 50-glass rack in under 2 minutes. A three-person bar team handwashing reaches roughly 30 glasses per person per hour — 90 per hour combined. For an event with 300 guests going through 3 glasses each over 4 hours, that is 900 wash cycles. A glass washer handles that in under 30 minutes of washing time. Handwashing the same volume requires dedicating staff to washing for the entire service.
The economics shift in favour of hiring a glass washer when your guest count exceeds around 100 and your service period runs over 2 hours.
