From soups to salads, and from rice to risottos, the humble bowl is a useful piece of crockery for any place setting. We have a wide range of bowls available which will meet almost any food ideas we can think of.

What ranges of crockery are on offer?

Different themes at events concentrate on different colours, and it’s for this reason we offer a variety of ranges of crockery hire. Our ranges have been chosen to suit the widest range of colour schemes possible, and feature all the items of crockery we think you’ll need for your table setting.

We currently have three ranges of crockery available. Our standard range of white porcelain is very popular for formal events and occasions but we have found more and more frequently customers want something a little bit more than plain white crockery.

For those looking for a bold and striking look our Graphite range of crockery stands out. This range of crockery is made from dark grey porcelain, which offers a modern stylish look. Whether used as a contrast against white linen or as part of a bolder colour scheme, this range of crockery is eye catching and will draw your guest’s eyes to the food on offer.

Our Storm range of crockery offers a calmer and more understated alternative. This range is made from light grey porcelain and gives a splash of colour to tables without being overpowering. This range of crockery suits a more rustic and cosy setting, and pairs well with muted colours.

What kind of bowls for hire work in which settings

If you’re confused by which bowl works best, we can offer some guidance to help you. Our most basic design is the oatmeal bowl. This bowl is great for soups and desserts alike and matches our other white crockery in shade. The oatmeal bowl offers a shallower curve than our rice bowls, which tend to be used as the name suggests for rice served on the side of a main meal.

If you’re looking for a slightly different style we also have square and tear shaped bowls, while our lions head soup bowls offer a certain gravitas to a place setting. All of our bowls are listed with capacity so you can be certain that it will work with the food you plan to serve.

Do I need to clean bowl hire before it is collected?

Cleaning crockery is not only a bothersome chore, but it is the main reason why any crockery gets broken while out on hire.

For this reason, we have made it compulsory for all crockery items to have the send it back dirty option added at checkout. All we ask is that food debris is scraped off plates, bowls etc and all liquids are emptied out prior to repacking ready for collection.

Looking after your crockery order

We check and clean each and every piece of bowl hire before packing them into crates with bubble wrap for safe delivery. We’ve got lots of experience in doing this sort of thing, so our bowls should reach you ready to be used. However, we always recommend ordering a little bit more than you need to prevent any unexpected damages from ruining your event.
